We Mourn the Loss of a Brave Soul
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Professor Colonel (Retd.) Dr. Khaleda Khanam, the esteemed Vice President of the Center for Cancer Care Foundation (CCCF), who breathed her last on 13 August 2024 at CMH Hospital, Dhaka.
Born on 27 March 1961, Dr. Khaleda Khanam was not only a decorated military medical professional but also a dedicated cancer warrior who fought her illness with immense courage and grace. Her contributions to cancer care and her role in public health advocacy will forever be remembered.
As a respected leader and a source of inspiration, her tireless commitment to the welfare of cancer patients, especially through her work with CCCF, has left an indelible mark on the community. Her strength, compassion, and resilience touched countless lives.
We extend our deepest condolences to her grieving family, colleagues, and loved ones during this difficult time. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
